5,000 cheaters banned from StarCraft 2
Oct 2nd 2010, 2:49 am EST

It doesn’t matter which generation of gaming we are in, there will always be cheaters. Blizzard recently announced that it had banned “over 5,000¬†StarCraft 2 players who were in violation of the Battle.net Terms of Use for cheating and/or using hack programs while playing.”

It seems only fair as they gave this warning just a couple weeks ago, “We strongly recommend that you avoid using any hacks, cheats, or exploits. Suspensions and bans of players that have used or start using cheats and hacks will begin in the near future.”

It doesn’t stop there as Blizzard is determined to get everybody who is cheating, “Maintaining a stable, safe, and secure online-gaming experience for legitimate players is a top priority for us, and we’ll be continuing to keep watch on Battle.net and take action as needed.”
